Formed in 2005, Loop Design is organized as a general partnership between Christy Seals and Marla Smith.

We share an interest in craft and making, as well as a deep concern for how buildings engage with their sites and the larger environment. Finding ourselves teaching the same studio at UT, We began the conversation of how you might have an architecture firm that would also explore the integration of rainwater collection systems into buildings and landscape.

We started Loop Design at the semester’s end.
