A native Texan, Bill received his B.S. in Radio Television Film from the University of Texas in 1991 and worked for three years in Los Angeles in production design for motion pictures. He earned his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997.

Since graduation, he has worked in Austin, in both construction and architecture. He has also taught several undergraduate and graduate design studios at UT. Bill worked for John Mayfield, AIA, Anthony Alofsin, AIA, and as a sole practitioner, before teaming up with Loop Design. His most recent project was the design and build of a whole-house renovation for himself and his wife Amy.
